Der Contest. Die Party.

Jedem Tierchen sein Plaisierchen. Jedem Fetisch seinen Mister. Ob Leder, Latex oder Underwear. Allein die zahllosen Fans von Sportklamotten, von drei Streifen und Co. dürfen bis dato nirgends beweisen, wie unverschämt gut sie in Fußballtrikot, Ringerdress, Badeshorts oder Trainingsjacke aussehen. Schluss damit. Deutschland soll haben, was es braucht: seinen ersten Mister Sportswear Germany.
Im Kölner Club Station2b tragen zehn Anwärter auf den Titel am 25. Oktober, im Jahr von Olympia und Fußball-EM, ihre Vorliebe und Qualitäten zu Markte.
Bewerben kann sich jeder zwischen 18-40 der optisch dem Titel alle Ehre macht! Ob athletisch oder bodygebildet, Hauptsache - sportlich und im passenden Outfit. Ganz im Sinne des olympischen Gedankens dürfen sich auch Sportswear-Fans aus anderen Ländern bewerben. Denn auf großes Interesse stößt der von Christian Schöler veranstaltete Contest bereits über Deutschlands Grenzen hinaus.
Die Titelanwärter erhalten während des Contests reichlich Gelegenheit, ihre trainierten Körper zu präsentieren. So in der aktuellen Swimwear-Show eines der Sponsoren, dem US-Label Andrew Christian.
In einem gesunden Körper – auch ein gesunder Geist? Bei Interviews zu Person und Antrieb des Einzelnen fühlt der Moderator bei der geistigen Verfassung der Anwärter nach. Denn nicht nur der optische Eindruck zählt.
Weil das Ganze letztendlich ein großer Spaß sein soll, verspricht der Abend auch nach Kür des ersten "Mister Sportwear Germany" durch eine Jury und das Publikum extrem unterhaltsam zu werden: Für Herzrasen sorgt als musikalisches Highlight der Top-Act des Abend. Direkt aus Israel: Boaz Mauda - der sein Land in diesem Jahr beim Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrad vertrat, und hier seine stimmlichen Talente auf der Bühne des Station2b beweist. Live, ohne Netz und doppelten Boden.
Für sportliche Hochleistungen hinter dem DJ-Pult und auf der Tanzfläche legt sich der international gefragte Kölner Elektronik-Heroe Justus Köhncke ins Zeug. Köhncke arbeitet nach seinem just erschienen Album „Safe and Sound“ (Kompakt) momentan am Soundtrack des neuen Wim Wenders-Films.
Zurück zum Mister Sportswear. Lohn der Mühen: Bewundernde Blicke, der Titel und unter anderem eine Reise nach Berlin inklusive professionellem Foto-Shooting für die Szenemagazine Boum und Menmaxx. Dazu exklusive Sportswear der Sponsoren, Reisen und noch weit mehr. Mitmachen lohnt sich, auch wenn man letztendlich nicht mit dem begehrten Titel nach Hause geht.
Die Kosten für die Anreise tragen die Bewerber, in Köln steht dann aber jedem der 10 Kandidaten für das Event-Wochenende ein Einzelzimmer zur Verfügung.
Angereist wird bereits am 24.Oktober, da für den Nachmittag ein Meet and Greet von Presse/TV und Kandidaten ansteht, ein lockeres Treffen, bei dem die Bewerber schon einmal abgecheckt werden können.

The Contest – The Party

Every bear needs a den, every wolf needs a pack… and every fetish needs a ‘Mr’, whether it’s leather, latex or underwear. But until now, the countless fans of sportswear everywhere have been denied the chance to show off how incredible they look in a football shirt, a wrestling suit, swimwear or sports jacket. But those times are over. Germany is going to get what it deserves: its very own first Mr Sportswear Germany.

On 25 October of this year, the year of the Olympic games and the European Football Championships, ten candidates vying for the title will show the market what they’ve got in Cologne club Station2b.
Any man aged 18-40 can enter who does visual justice to the title – beefy bodybuilders and toned athletes alike – as long as they’re toned-up and in the right outfit! And in line with the Olympic spirit, international sportswear fans are of course also welcome to enter, as this contest organised by Christian Schöler is already making headlines outside of Germany.

Of course all candidates will have ample opportunity during the contest to present their buff bods, right up to a new swimwear show by one of our sponsors, US label Andrew Christian.

Healthy body… healthy mind? Our moderator will interview the candidates individually, to find out who they are and what makes them tick. Because it’s not just looks that count…
While the whole affair will ultimately be loads of fun, after Mr Sportswear Germany has been announced, the evening will have only just begun. The heart-pumping musical highlight of the evening will be provided by Boaz Mauda, who represented his country this year at the Eurovision song festival in Belgrade, and who will be presenting his vocal talents on stage at Station 2b. Live, without any safety nets, smoke or mirrors!
After that, internationally renowned Cologne Electro-Hero Justus Köhncke will make sure that the physical activity keeps pumping on the dance floor all night long. Köhncke, having just released the new album ‘Safe and Sound’ (Kompakt), is now working on the soundtrack of a new Wim Wender film.
But back to Mr Sportswear. What’s in it for the winner? Adoring looks, the title itself and much more, including a trip to Berlin and a professional photo shoot for scene magazines Boum and Menmaxx. Then throw some exclusive sportswear from the sponsors into the bargain, plus more travelling and extras. And just taking part is worthwhile, even for those who ultimately head home without the title.
Contestants must cover their own travel expenses for the event, but there will be a single room available to accommodate each of the 10 contestants during the event weekend.
Contestants must arrive on 24 October for an afternoon meet-and-greet with press and TV: an informal meeting where the contestants can be checked out in advance.
